“They are everywhere!” is what we often hear down the phone from concerned clients. It seems that currently the European Wasp has been very busy.
While there are a number of different varieties of this bee-like pest, the most common is Vespula germanica aka German Wasp. Regardless of the actual species they are all equally unpopular and similarly dangerous.
Unlike a bee however the European Wasp can bite repeatedly and have a very sharp, painful sting – much worse than a bee or ant.
As if this is not bad enough; this particular flying pest is also naturally aggressive and highly defensive of its nest.
When under threat large “clouds” of insects will quickly form and attack anything that moves.
